The speakers of the Bangladesh Reporters Council (BRC) stated that in a discussion meeting at Metro Restaurant in the opposition of National Pressclub yesterday evening.
The convener of this meeting, THM Jahangir of Channel S said, self development should be the first priority of a journalist. BRC will work for that.
The editor of Daily state, Prof. Rafique Ullah Sikder said, journaliam is a novel profession. We should not destroy our status by yellow journalism. This sector demand a method of justify the professional skill of a journalist.
Billal Hossain, special correspondent of Aparath Anuandhan said, without courage no one should comes this profession. Only brave journalists can remove the corruption from this society.
Tanvir Raihan, reporter of Daily Observer said, we should refrain from greediness and personal interest.
MP Chowdhury Bappy, founder president of Khilgaon Press club, Nagis Jui, reporter of BTV, Omar Faruk, Saleh Biplob of Crime Investigation, Shah Jalal and among others were present in this discussion meeting.
